A Full Continuum of Care

Recovery is not a one-size-fits-all process. Our treatment programs address every stage of the healing journey, providing the structure, support, and clinical expertise needed for lasting sobriety.

Understanding Levels of Care

Our continuum of care guides you through progressive stages of treatment, each designed to build upon the last and prepare you for the next step toward independent recovery.

The first step: safely clearing substances from your body under medical supervision. Typically 3–7 days.

Residential Treatment

Immersive 24-hour care in a structured environment. Intensive therapy, skill-building, and community. 30–90 days.

Structured group and individual sessions 3–5 days per week, allowing you to return to work or school. 8–12 weeks.

5

Outpatient & Aftercare

Weekly sessions, alumni support, relapse prevention planning, and community connection for sustained long-term recovery.

Medical Detoxification

The safest, most comfortable way to begin your recovery. Our medically supervised detox program provides around-the-clock care as your body clears harmful substances.

What Is Medical Detox?

Medical detoxification is the clinically managed process of safely removing addictive substances from your body. At NRVT Rehabilitation, detox is never a standalone treatment—it is the critical first step in a comprehensive recovery plan. Our medical team monitors your vital signs 24 hours a day, manages withdrawal symptoms with proven protocols, and ensures your safety and comfort throughout the process.

Attempting withdrawal without medical supervision can be dangerous, even life-threatening, especially for alcohol, benzodiazepines, and opioid dependence. Our facility is equipped to handle all levels of withdrawal severity.

Our Detox Process

1

Assessment

Comprehensive medical and psychological evaluation to determine substance history, co-occurring conditions, and the appropriate detox protocol for your situation.

Dual Diagnosis Treatment

When addiction and mental health conditions exist together, treating one without the other leads to incomplete recovery. Our integrated dual diagnosis program addresses both simultaneously.

What Is Dual Diagnosis?

Dual diagnosis—also called co-occurring disorders—refers to the presence of both a substance use disorder and a mental health condition at the same time. Research shows that nearly half of individuals struggling with addiction also experience a co-occurring mental health disorder. Without integrated treatment that addresses both conditions, the risk of relapse increases significantly.

At NRVT Rehabilitation, our clinical team is specially trained in trauma-informed care and dual diagnosis treatment. We use comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, evidence-based therapies, and, when appropriate, psychiatric medication management to treat the whole person—not just the addiction.

Common Co-Occurring Disorders We Treat

Depression

Major depressive disorder frequently co-occurs with substance use. Our program addresses the neurochemical and emotional roots of both conditions through therapy and, when needed, medication.

Anxiety Disorders

Generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and panic disorders often fuel substance use as a coping mechanism. We teach healthier alternatives through CBT, DBT, and mindfulness practices.

PTSD & Trauma

Unresolved trauma is one of the most common drivers of addiction. Our trauma-informed approach uses evidence-based modalities to process traumatic experiences safely.

Bipolar Disorder

The mood swings associated with bipolar disorder can intensify substance cravings. Integrated psychiatric care and mood stabilization are central to our treatment approach.

Our Integrated Approach

Comprehensive Assessment

Full psychiatric and substance use evaluation at intake to identify all co-occurring conditions and develop a unified treatment plan.

Evidence-Based Therapies

CBT, DBT, EMDR, and other proven modalities specifically adapted for dual diagnosis populations.

Psychiatric Medication Management

Board-certified psychiatrists who specialize in co-occurring disorders, ensuring medications work together safely and effectively.

Trauma-Informed Care

Every member of our clinical staff is trained in trauma-informed practices, creating a safe environment for healing at every level of care.
